| Northern911 currently dispatches for over fifty (50)
different Fire Departments, First Response Teams and Emergency Service
Groups. Some are local in our area and we have a couple of
departments from almost 1,000 kilometers away! |
| In some areas we supply are a "down stream" agency to a 911
Communications Centre. |
| In some areas we have installed a new toll free line for the
residents to call and included the price in the basic service. |
| In some areas the Fire Department simply "Call Forwards" their line
to us. |
| Once we get the call we normally page it out to the Fire Fighters
but in some areas with no paging service available, we go down the list
of volunteers and call them all at home over the regular telephone. Our
response is determined by your instructions. |
| Some departments have us call out the entire team, some have us call
out only a partial group for a chimney fire and everyone for a
structure.
