Registration is required yearly for a permit with the Durham Regional Police. Customers who are not registered will be fined $150.00 and are suspended from police service for 1 year. The customer can be reinstated by paying a $150.00 fine for each suspension.
Annual Fees are as follows: Residential $50.00 Commercial $100.00 False Alarm Policy is as follows: Three (3) false alarms are allowed a year. After (3) a 30 day suspension. After the 3rd another (1) additional false will result in a 365 day suspension. The customer can be reinstated by paying a $150.00 fine after each suspension.
